Hi there this is a complete guide on website optimization, monetization & publicizing. This is not only for beginners but also advanced web designers & others who own a website may it be free or your own domain.

 

Firstly optimization (Also called Search Engine Optimisation {SEO}):-

 

Optimisation is a process where you change the appearance & also the code of your website i.e. its overall design to suit both viewers & search engines. More importantly it should be a good experience for the viewers.

 

You may have heard of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). So what is it about?

Firstly this is a process where you optimize your site & make it easy for search engines to crawl your site etc. You can use Meta tags (HTML code) to place keywords {not used by search engines now days but its still good practice to include them}. Also you can use Meta tags to write a brief description of a certain page of your site.  This is the description that appears below your search results on search engines.  Make sure to use correct keywords & descriptions & be specific to attract the best results.

Usually SEO is a thing you see everywhere where you pay people to do it for you. But why in the world would someone without cash to throw away ever pay for something like that when it doesn't guarantee you success. Monetisation:-

Monetisation is the process of generating income from your site. You get this by placing ads on your site.  There are various types of ads that you can place on your site the most notable among them are PPC (Pay per click) ads like adsense etc these pay you when people click on their ads.  Also CPM (Cost per mile) ads which pay on the number of visitors you get to your site.  You can also palce banner ads directly from an advertiser (For the amount you wish i.e. if your site is famous here theres no middlemen so you get paid more) or you can get banner ads from a network.  There are plenty of other types of ads try them all & see which best suits your site. It may even be a combination of these.  But you have to check with each provider whether they allow ads from other networks to be placed along with their ads. Some of the other types are in text ads, text link ads, etc.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money.
