• When to submit my article.
• In what form to submit my article.

A simple phrase like submit my article, can bring up more questions then you maybe even thought off.

Before we even think about the article submission site where we are going to submit our article, we have to think about the following. What do we want to achieve with our submission.

If you want to get quality ranking in the search engines, we have to use different sites then when we want to get more back links to our sites.

there are basically 2 kinds of article submitting sites.

1. Sites that have high standards, but give us high ranking in the search engines
2. Sites that so not have high standards, but produce back-links

The first one are sites like where I published this article. Editorial team with standards that, sometimes makes it hard to get approved. Believe me. been there done that. But it ranks high and once approved, you get indexed fast.

The second one are sites, where you most of the time do not even have to register and about every article get approved almost instantly. Those sites provide back links.

It looked like a simple title "submit my article", but as you find out it takes a little more thinking before we can start submitting our article.

Read the guidelines. I can not emphasis this enough. Every site has got his own guidelines. Some let us put links in the article body, some let us only put links in the author box. It is very important  to read the guide lines for every site you want to use, because believe me on this one. There is nothing more frustrating then writing an article and not get approved, because you did not read the guidelines. Been there done that.

So, Think good about what you want to achieve, What site you want to submit, read the guidelines. But most of all use you common sense and write articles with:

• plain and good English.
• use a spelling checker.
• targeted to your keyword.
